Autumn's experience in her bike chariot

Let's get started... we'll start with yesterday's happenings:

2-12-2011

so we decided to buy a trailer carrier for Autumn to ride in on the bikes. here is a picture of one similar to what we bought (even tho there will be many pics of her in it in days to come):

so it was about naptime but decided to give it a try anyway, hoping she would fall asleep in it on our quick bike ride down to the trails in Legacy Park. Well, it started real good, with her just chilling in there like a little mardi gras princess (or as I said, she looked like she was in a little "pope-mobile") just sittin back, enjoying the sites. Well, not sure what changed her mood, if she just had enough of being sleepy and wanted to be held or what, or maybe todd hit a bump and it made her mad, but she started crying and well, what were we to do? Get her out of it and she's even more mad when you try to put her back in. So we decided to just high-tail it home and wow... she cried and she cried and she cried.. more than she's ever cried in her short life I am sure. We got to the house finally (the ride home is all uphill..whew!) and her eyes were buggin' out and she was red-faced and had spit bubbles all the way past her chin.

Let's hope if we attempt this again today, she won't hold it against the carrier that she had to cry for so long! haha
